Eyelash Extensions

Explore our options for eyelash extensions below from classic to mega volume! We offer eyelash extensions to Mt. Pleasant and Greater Charleston, SC.

Classic Eyelash Extensions

Classic lashes are one lash extension applied to one natural lash only, therefore if you only have 50 suitable natural lashes per eye, then you will only achieve a look of 50 eyelash extensions, whereas if you have 100 natural lashes per eye then you will achieve a look of 100 extensions per eye.

Classic lashes are suitable for the following client:

  • Clients that have a good amount of healthy natural lashes
  • Clients that are younger and have few gaps in their lash line
  • Clients that desire a natural/medium effect

Volume Eyelash Extensions

Volume lashes use multiple ultra fine eyelash extensions, that are hand created at the time of application by the technician using their specially designed tweezers. The technician skillfully creates bouquets of eyelash extensions that are then placed onto the natural lash in a fanned effect, to create extra fluff, coverage and fullness than cannot be created with classic extensions. Although we use multiple extensions, the fan is still placed onto one individually isolated natural lash in a method that encases the natural lash, and results in great retention with zero damage.

Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions

The art of Russian Volume is a highly skilled technique that is an advanced
upgrade from the traditional Volume technique. Creation of Russian volume lashes requires precise and perfectly spaced
fans for that extra dense and precision effect.

Russian Volume lashes are very similar to the traditional volume lashes. The difference between Russian Volume and traditional Volume is how
many lash extensions are being used to create the fan and the diameter
of the extensions in the fan. A set of traditional Volume lashes uses
.07mm extensions to create a fan with up to 5 eyelash
extensions.  Russian volume sets use .05mm lash extensions to create a fan with up to 10 eyelash extensions.

Hybrid Eyelash Extensions

Hybrid lashes are the half way step between a classic set and a volume set of eyelash extensions. A 50/50 mixture of 1:1 lashes and the handmade fanned volume lashes. They create texturized life-like, non-uniform lash look.

Hybrid lashes are versatile in offering a thicker, denser look than classic lashes, but without the uniformity and softness of traditional Volume set.

Russian Wispy Eyelash Extensions

Russian Wispy eyelash extensions is a trending style created by combining different fans of lash extensions. Closed fans are used to create the spikes and between them, opened fans are inserted to add density and volume – which gives the appearance of a Strip Lash look.

Wispy lashes are gaining traction because they look fluffy and feathery, so very natural. They are perfect for people who prefer a dramatic, makeup look and Eyelash Extensions that stand out.

Mascara/Wet Effect Eyelash Extensions

Mascara/Wet effect lashes are achieved by applying volume lashes without fanning them out. They create a glossier and more heavily textured finish and gives the illusion of wetness – adding an extra level of drama to your eyes.

In contrast, traditional Volume lashes focus on creating a fuller, more voluminous look without the added shine and look softer.

M Curl Eyelash Extensions

The new star of the lash industry! The base of M curl lashes is straight, but not too long, and finishes in a strong curve without a kink at the transition. Because of its dramatic, but not over curled, bend, it creates a beautiful lifting effect.

Volume M Curl looks great on anyone who wants the appearance of an overall face lift coupled with the drama of curly, voluminous lashes.

For anyone with natural Eyelash Extensions, false lashes are a great way to enhance your natural look. It is a small change with a large impact, allowing you to have a seemingly-natural and sexy look all day from the moment you wake up. No matter if you prefer full glam or minimal makeup, are a bride-to-be or just want them for day-to-day, lash extensions make your peepers pop for a look that is unforgettable.

What happens during a lash extension procedure?

Your appointment will begin with a consultation where your lash artist determine the look you desire. You will then be reclined with your eyes closed while the lash stylist applies the lashes individually onto your own natural lashes with a safe and high quality adhesive.

How long does it take to apply the lashes?

Depending on the desired look, the entire lash application process can take anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours for a full set.

What are the do’s and don’ts for maintaining false Eyelash Extensions?

With proper care, your new Eyelash Extensions can last up to 8 weeks. You will want to avoid exposing your lashes to dirt, oil, and immersing them in water for an extended period of time. We will give you more specific instructions and tips at the time of your service.

Do eyelash extensions hurt?

Eyelash extensions should not hurt when applied correctly. They are applied with professional tools by isolating one lash, and adhering one extension to your natural lash for classic lashes or fans for volume lashes. Most Lash Artists put on under eye gel pads to prevent discomfort and aid in application. It is important to go to a trusted Lash Artist who was certified through a reputable course as this will ensure that they are applying the correct weight and length of lashes to your natural lash.

Do eyelash extensions look fake?

Eyelash extensions can be applied to look anyway that you desire. Most reputable lash artists will be able to give you your desired look. You can choose to have shorter natural lashes, large dramatic lashes, etc. Typically speaking, eyelash extensions don’t look fake unless that is the look that you are going for.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Most eyelash extension adhesives have a bond time of anywhere from 4-8 weeks. However, they will only last as long as your natural lash does. Like all hair on the human body, your eyelashes grow in stages. It is normal to lose 1-5 natural lashes per day which is why a fill is recommended every 2-4 weeks.

Do eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?

When applied correctly, eyelash extensions do not damage your natural lash. Certified lash artists will apply to only one natural lash, and will apply an extension that is the appropriate weight and length to ensure the integrity of your natural lash. Eyelash extensions can be damaging if your lash artist is not using proper techniques. Lashes that are too heavy, or clusters (pre-made fans) have a larger amount of adhesive and can cause your natural lash to break.

Can I wear mascara with my eyelash extensions?

Yes. But one of the main advantages of lash extensions is never needing to apply mascara. However, you should use only water-based mascara but never use waterproof mascara on eyelash extensions.

Can I wear eye make-up with my eyelash extensions?

You most definitely can wear make-up with your eyelash extensions. However, steer clear away from any products with oil as they can be harmful to the glue that keeps the artificial lashes attached to your natural ones. When removing your makeup, use an oil-free makeup remover and avoid your lash line completely. Use a cosmetic sponge to remove the makeup rather than a cotton ball or pad, which can leave cotton residue stuck in your lashes.

Can I swim in my lash extensions?

Yes, however salt water and chlorine will slowly begin to break down the adhesive. The best way to avoid this is to wash your lashes directly after swimming, preferably with a lash cleanser but if not just rinse them off with clean water.
